Fantasia No. 6 in d minor
Jean-François Beaudin (flute)
Here I am playing one of my modern traversos at 415 Hz.
The head and body are made of African blackwood (grenadilla) and the moulded parts are made of real ivory turned in a baroque style.
The foot has a wide ring at its end to weigh down the end of the flute so that it falls well on the thumb of the flutist's right hand.
The foot also has two keys allowing you to directly tune the E flat (+10 cents) and the D sharp (-12 cents).
The head contains a zirconium cap made by Robert Bigio.
